Club Charity

A feel good post- Chairperson Michelle is friends with Ashley Vailes from Clevedon who along with his wife Gill have set up a charity called Littlewood Creek with the aim to raise money to build a shelter and safe space for women and children in Kenya. On a recent visit to purchase the land for the new build Ashley took one of our old kits to donate to a local school volleyball team, they were extremely grateful and they can now enjoy playing even more knowing that they have the right clothing to wear. Michelle also donated some Whitefield T-shirts which the local girls from the orphanage loved, as their smiles show. 

A big applause goes out to Ashley & Gill on setting up and dedicating their time to help others for a very worthy cause, City of Bristol volleyball club were really happy to help by donating the kit.
